The entity responsible for managing your personal data is the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, operating within the Warsaw-4-PhD Doctoral School (hereinafter referred to as Warsaw-4-PhD), located at 3 Ludwik Pasteur Street, 02-093 Warsaw.

Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis

Your personal data will be processed for two main purposes. Firstly, for enrolling in the Alumni Zone. This data may include your first and last name, email address, and details regarding your graduate studies such as the name of the institution, laboratory, year of graduation, diploma number, and type of doctoral studies. Secondly, for subscribing to and receiving the newsletter. This data may include your first and last name, and email address. The processing of your personal data is based on the consent you voluntarily provide by completing the Membership Declaration or subscribing to the newsletter via the form on the Warsaw-4-PhD Graduate Zone website. You retain the right to withdraw your consent at any time by either resigning from membership in the Alumni Zone (contact: phdoffice@warsaw4phd.eu) or unsubscribing from the newsletter (by replying to the newsletter message you received).

Storage Period for Your Personal Data

Your personal data will be retained until you request deletion or revoke your consent to processing.

Recipients of Your Data

Your personal data may be shared with other authorized entities in compliance with relevant laws and agreements established with the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (including other institutions affiliated with Warsaw-4-PhD).

Rights Related to Processing

Obligation to Provide Data and Consequences of Non-Provision

Providing data is voluntary but necessary to utilize the Alumni Zone and/or receive the Alumni Zone newsletter. Data processing is conducted in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 (GDPR).
