Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025/2026

Dear Phd Students, Dear Professors,

We are pleased to invite you to the official Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025/2026 at the Warsaw PhD School in Natural and BioMedical Sciences. The event will take place on October 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS at Kasprzaka 44/52 in Warsaw. 

Attached is a detailed program which includes inaugural lecture by Prof. Sylwester Porowski, laureate of Foundation for Polish Science Award for developing a high pressure method for producing gallium nitride monocrystals. The Inauguration will be concluded with Doctoral Oath Ceremony for first-year students.

Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025

It is our pleasure to invite our PhD Students to the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025 of the Warsaw PhD School in Natural and BioMedical Sciences (Warsaw-4-PhD).

The inauguration has been scheduled for 7th October 2024 (Monday) at 10:00 a.m. and will take place in the auditorium of the Maciej Nałęcz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBIB PAN) at 4 Ks. Trojden Street in Warsaw.

The opening lecture at the ceremony will be given by Nobel Laureate in Chemistry – Prof. Aaron Ciechanover.

The STER Summer School in Redox Processes

Five days of science 10-14 June 2024

The STER workshop runs over five days, with each day dedicated to a specific topic. The school is a workshop aimed at PhD students and young researchers in physical chemistry to familiarise themselves with the latest topics in physical chemistry.

World class lecturers

A tutorial lecture will be given by an internationally renowned speaker followed by lectures by students and local experts.
